Race report by JJ Wang
The past weekend I was Washington State for the annual Timezone Grand Prix. This year's the event attracted over 120 people making it a 3 day race. As always, XRAY America team and I worked hard together to find the best possible setup for the outdoor asphalt track. From the first practice round, I knew the car had good potential so all I needed to do was to make some small changes to the car. After making some shock adjustments my car was working great. 4 rounds of qualifying was underway and I was able to secure the overall TQ. Top 8 drivers make it directly into the A main.

Sunday was scheduled for finals only so we had plenty of time to run our triple mains. The B main was up first and it was nice to have my young teammate from Shanghai, Nicholas Koh, bump up into the A-main with an awesome charge in the B-main. My car worked flawlessly in the first final and was able to win ahead of fellow teammate Ralph Burch. In the second final, my car once again worked flawlessly and was able to take home the overall win. I want to thank everyone for their support throughout the weekend and big thanks to XRAY/HUDY for the awesome package!

Race report by Tim Copp
My 17.5 was good out of the box with setup that's posted on xray web site (Tpczx6) just needed to get speed down. worked on tire prep and motor gearing. On Friday we started with Q1, I had a good start and ended up P2 just 1 second back Q2 I was able to improve my time and take TQ for the round. in round 3 I tried some gear changes and was able to better my time by 2 seconds and keep TQ. I round 4 I added more gear and timing to motor and dropped 2 more seconds, But Mike and Devin would up their game and improve their runs by 6 seconds. So I would start the Mains in P3.

In A1 i was able to get under Devin (Might of bumped him But not 100% Sure) but with the bump I would come out in 3rd and had to make a pass on 2nd in the next turn when he went a bit deep in the turn. I was able to stay on Mike's tail for the next 3 min till I put some pressure on him, with one minute left Mike would cut a bit close to a corner and roll over, I was able to get by and take the win.

A2 Devin got a great start and was able to get by Mike and I started 3rd and Mikes car was not as good as it had been so I was able to get by a lap later and Chase down Devin. By the 3rd lap I was able to stay with Devin but not able to make a move on him but could hang right there. around the 4 minite make Devin would over shoot a turn and I was able to get by and pull ahead to take A2 and the over all win
Thanks to my sponsors
